Biography Jacob was born in Coventry, Rhode Island thirty-four years ago to a pair of upper-middle class parents. His father had been a History professor at Brown University for twenty years, and his mother had been a Theology professor at Providence College for fifteen. Both sets of grandparents had been professors. Both sets of great grandparents had been professors. Jacob really had no intention of being the first Andrews to break the tradition, and luckily for him, his passion for the profession never dwindled. He grew up as an only child, ascending through the ranks of school at a normal pace. He attended Providence College as an undergraduate, originally pursuing a degree in English. After an Ethics class forever changed him, he found himself wanting to do something more than just get a BA in English. He switched majors in the middle of his Sophomore year and began to pursue a Philosophy degree. After graduation, he attended Brown University where he obtained his Master's Degree in Public Humanities, and then his Doctorate of Philosophy, with a concentration in Epistemology & Metaphysics. He has been teaching there ever since and currently resides on the East Side of Providence, close to the Brown campus. All throughout his educational career, Jacob never really seemed interesting in dating. His family was convinced that he was a homosexual, and though he had given it some thought, he realized that he wasn't. He just wasn't that focused on chasing girls. To him, the most important thing was doing well in school, fulfilling his destiny of becoming a professor. That's not to say that he hasn't been interested in anyone in the past. He's had his heart broken plenty of times, and he tends to clam up about the subject. He figures that the heartbreak will someday be worth it. At least, he hopes so. For now, he's happy to continue teaching and concentrating on his career until the right woman comes along. Disclaimer -- JEA is an original character.
